MAC Address Vendor Lookup
Identify unknown devices connected to your Wi-Fi network.
How to Use the MAC Vendor Lookup Tool
Have you ever logged into your router's admin panel and noticed an unknown device connected to your Wi-Fi? Our MAC Vendor Lookup tool helps you identify exactly what that device is.
Find the MAC Address
Log into your router (typically via 192.168.1.1) and check the "Connected Devices" or "DHCP Clients" list. Find the MAC address of the device you don't recognize.
Enter the Address
Type or paste the MAC address into the input field above. You don't need to worry about the exact formatting (colons or dashes); our tool will clean it up automatically.
Identify the Manufacturer
Click 'Lookup Manufacturer'. The tool checks the MAC address against the official database to instantly tell you the manufacturer (e.g., Apple, Samsung, Nintendo).
Why is there an unknown device on my network?
If the lookup tool reveals a manufacturer like "Apple, Inc.", the mystery device is likely just an iPhone or iPad in your house that you forgot about. However, if you see a manufacturer you don't recognize, and you cannot account for all your smart home devices (like smart TVs, lightbulbs, or thermostats), you should immediately change your Wi-Fi password using our Secure Password Generator and reboot your router to kick off any potential unauthorized users.
